How often should I water my lawn ?

Water early in the day when lawns are normally wet from dew.

Everyone’s lawn is different but as a general rule, 1/2″ every other day should keep your lawn looking a healthy green.

How often should I fertilize our lawn?

Again, every lawn is different but after taking soil condition, sun exposure, and drainage, we encourage six applications every four to six weeks.

When is the ideal planting season ?

There are plants for every season. The best time to plant bulbs is in the fall, so their roots have plenty of time to gain strength. Other plants are planted in the early spring to flower in the late spring. Some plants are planted in the summer to bloom in the fall. We can work with you to help you decide what plants to create your vision.

When should my shrubs be pruned?

Pruning shrubs at the wrong time of the year can damage the next set of blooms. In our area, shrubs bloom at different times of the year and should be pruned accordingly.

When is the best time to prune my trees ?

As your trees get older, it becomes necessary to cut some branches to make the tree stronger, to grow in a certain shape or just to eliminate lower branches. Major pruning should be done in late winter or early spring. Minor pruning can be done throughout the year as long as the cut branches are protected from invading pests.
